Week in Review #41

What a crazy week! With the upcoming SDCC event, we are thrilled with the all of the absolute awesome new Funko Pops which are being released - and we have a hard time deciding our favourites of the new releases. Have you decided which you want?

One of the exciting reasons for collecting - we think - is connecting beyond just the Fandoms we like, but caring for all of the great Funko Pops. In the SDCC event, for instance, we really like the new Marvel pieces, but who cannot appreciate the Animation figures just for the details?

If that was not enough, we also added a lot of US Exclusives to an already massive selection. This week, we have added more than 65 different Funko Pops - we think that is pretty cool. This has been a #KeepCollecting week indeed!

Highlights of the week

• San Diego Comic-Con 2022 Funko Pops are here. We love the time of the Comic-Cons. At SDCC 2022, Funko will present Funko Pops from Batman Returns, Disney Classics, Dragon Ball Z, Parks and Recreation, South Park, Friends, Peacemaker, Sonic, Demon Slayer, Boruto, My Hero Academia and many, many other Fandoms! But fear not, you can preorder you favourite today and until the end of July with a 15% off. • How about the Disney Villians train set? Join Maleficent in the Engine with Evil Queen, Cruella de Vil, Ursula and Captain Hook all with their own unique vehicle - and Funko Shop Exclusive stickers, of course. This is a no-brainer for fans of the Disney Villians! 
• How much do collectors like Stranger Things? Well, we had some US Exclusives (looking at you, Eddie..) in-stock this week. If you love Stranger Things and US Exclusives, we still have Hottopic Exclusive Dustin in-stock - and Walmart Exlcuisve Lucas and GameStop Exclusive Dustin will be in-stock later this month! Can't wait!
• Everybody loves dinosaurs, right.. right? We now have both Target Exclusive Atrociraptors and BAM! Exclusive Atrociraptor in-stock!
• My Hero Academia is a great show, but maybe even greater are the Funko Pops. They are detailed, exciting and full of fun - even if you do not care for the show, the Funko Pops are still awesome! Hottopic Exclusives Twice and Itsuka Kendo are now in-stock! And we have the awesome Tomura Shigaraki for preorder.
• In a (Pops of the) Galaxy far, far away Funko Pops featuring Star Wars icons were bringing excitement to collectors. That Galaxy is here! Because, for the Star Wars collectors, we now have in-stock Walmart Exclusive Darth Vader in Hoth details, Princess Leia and Funko Shop Exclusive Die Cast Darth Vader (of course with a chance of getting that chase version!)
• Remember a time where you wanted to say Doh! and escape an akward situation in a hedge? With the Entertainment Earth Exclusive Homer in Hedges you can!
• Finally, he is here! Zola Vision was a cool villian in the Marvel What If..?-series and now he is in stock! Speaking of cool Marvel Funko Pops, we also have Mantis in Benatar in stock as well as Funko Pops from the awesome Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness!
• Animation Funko Pops are always a hit - or at least they are a major part of the collection of one member of the Pops of the Galaxy team - and this week did not miss to bring some Anime-action! We not have in stock the Target Exclusive Stardust Dragon, Maki and Shinra from Fire Force and Hottopic Exclusive Komugi from Hunter x Hunter. And you can treat yourself with a preorder of AAA Anime Exclusive Killua Zoldyck Godspeed.

Top 3

Every week we will name a top three of new Week in Review Funko Pops be it preorder, new release or a new item in-stock.

This week, in third place, we have selected not one but three Atrociraptors! As we have said before: If you can choose a dinosaur, you choose a dinosaur!

In second place, we have selected Stardust Dragon. What is better than a dinosaur? Yes, a dragon. If you can choose a dragon, you choose a dragon!

And.. in first place of this week. Our team has selected Darth Vader in the epic Hoth design. This Funko Pop is just incredible and will go great with all of the other Art Series Darth Vader Funko Pops.
